Rosette thick leaves need little water

A hardy and undemanding plant comes to us from the Canary Islands and finds its way into gardens and terraces more and more: the rosette thick leaf.

Rosette thick leaves need very little water
The advantage of the so-called rosette thick leaves is that the plant hardly needs any water. Watering once a week is enough - even in midsummer! So an optimal plant for people who like to forget about watering the flowers. Put the thick leaf in the sun and look forward to wonderful green plants that thrive in every pot.

Red-leaved rosette thick leaves
The leaves of this plant are robust and arranged in a rosette. But there is also the variety that appears as a mini tree - a great change on the terrace or balcony. But also perfectly suitable for indoors. In addition to the green variety, there are also the red-leaved rosette thick leaves. These turn green in winter, but in spring you can look forward to the leaves turning red. And the plant even produces flowers. In late winter, i.e. in February and March, you can expect wonderful panicles up to 40 centimeters long.
