Paprika cuts a very good figure in many dishes. Whether in goulash, as an ingredient in a salad or in a vegetable pan - paprika really tastes delicious in all dishes. Did you also know that you can easily and quickly make a spread from the pods? A real treat that you shouldn't miss.
A paprika spread, for example, tastes particularly delicious if you prepare it with curd cheese, cream cheese or nuts. The latter variant is particularly tasty. Just try our recipes and convince yourself of the delicious taste. Maybe your new favorite spread is among them.
❖ Recipe No. 1 - Pepper Quark
Ingredients:
- 1 small red pepper
- 200 grams of curd, lean
- 1 pinch of hot paprika powder
- Salt to taste
Preparation:
First, wash the peppers, remove their seeds and cuticles, and then cut into very small pieces. Then mix the curd with the paprika powder and add a little salt. Now just add the pepper pieces and mix everything together very thoroughly.
❖ Recipe No. 2 - Bell Pepper Cream Cheese Spread
Ingredients:
- 3 pickled tomatoes
- 1 pickled chili peppers
- 3 tablespoons of natural yogurt
- 50 grams of shepherd's cheese
- 300 grams of cream cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Chili powder, to taste
Preparation:
Drain the pickled pieces of pepper and roughly dice them. Then cut off the peppers. Then core the peppers and cut them into strips. Then crumble the shepherd's cheese and puree it together with the natural yoghurt, peppers and peppers. Then mix the whole thing with the cream cheese and season with salt, pepper and chili powder.

Ingredients:
- 120 grams of red peppers
- 50 grams of cleaned carrots
- 25 grams of finely chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of ground hazelnuts
- 1 teaspoon of frozen dill
- 1 tablespoon of parsley
- Salt, to taste
- Thyme, to taste
Preparation:
Cut the vegetables into small pieces, heat the oil in a saucepan and then sweat the vegetables in them. Then cover the whole thing and braise gently in about ten to 15 minutes. Then let everything cool, add the herbs and the ground hazelnuts and then puree the mixture. Then just season with a little salt and, if desired, with thyme and the spread is ready.
