Most know the beetroot only sliced and pickled. It can be prepared fresh and delicious in a variety of ways. It is just as popular as it is tasty when you fry the delicious vegetables. Then the beetroot gets a very special taste.
To try this out, you need to properly prepare the beetroot, because of course it cannot go raw into the pan. But before you get to work, be sure to get some gloves ready. Then you can start.
Our recipe for fried beetroot
You need:
- fresh beetroot
- butter
- salt
- pepper
Preparation:
If you use fresh beetroot, cook it in salted water for 20 minutes. Then put on gloves and peel off the shell.
Now cut the vegetables into slices and then add the butter to the pan. Let them foam well and then put the slices in. Now fry the beetroot. Then season with salt and pepper. And then it says: Bon appetit!
Experiment a little!
Depending on your taste and preference, you can of course also experiment a little. You can use e.g. also use lemon and olive oil or caraway. The fried beetroot tastes delicious, too, if you just sprinkle parsley over it. Just try a few combinations and decide for yourself what tastes best.
