What is so special about smoothies? Quite simply: thanks to them, you can treat yourself to a healthy snack in between without having to cut fruit. The juicer trade is therefore currently experiencing a huge boom, since many delicious juices and smoothies can be prepared with it. And that, of course, has another advantage: homemade smoothies are much cheaper than those made in the supermarket, and of course they are also much fresher and therefore particularly rich in vitamins (see peach nutritional values - that's in the stone fruit).

Peach smoothie sweet or sour
You can prepare the following smoothie according to your taste, sweet or slightly sour. If you don't want to prepare the smoothie so sweetly, just use orange lemonade instead of orange juice.
- 1/2 peach
- 1/4 sour apple (e.g. Braeburn)
- 30 g raspberries
- 50 ml ice-cold orange lemonade (or freshly squeezed orange juice)
- 1 tablespoon of ground hazelnuts
- 1 tsp hazelnut brittle
- crushed ice
➤ Step 1:
Halve and core the fresh peach first. Then wash the peach halves and dry them carefully. Then cut the pulp into small pieces and fill into a blender.
➤ Step 2:
Remove the core from the apple quarter, then peel and grate finely before it comes to the peach in the blender. Then wash the raspberries under running water, pat them dry and also put them in the blender. Finally, the ground hazelnuts and orange juice (or lemonade) are also included in the blender. Then mix everything well.
➤ Step 3:
To get a cool smoothie, add two to three tablespoons of crushed ice. Let the mixer run again briefly, pour everything into a glass and sprinkle with the brittle.
Variant for a creamy peach smoothie
If you don't want to drink the smoothie as part of a figure-conscious diet, you would rather Serve your guests rather as a culinary highlight, so you can also refine it a little. Just add something to the smoothie recipe as you like
